"Great location on the university campus, two miles from a lovely town centre. Relaxing."

Lancaster is a beautiful town and very close to the M6. A cooked breakfast in the university dining area comes with the room. The room is no frills - who wants frills? - and good enough for modern students, so good enough for me. A quiet and peaceful location and experience.

Why do hotels try to economise by providing the cheapest, thinnest toilet paper?

"We won’t be returning."

The staff member who helped with all the problems we encountered was exceptional.

The parking is horrendous. Although it states you can pay at machines, they are hidden from sight. We were shown the machine but only after we had paid via RingGo. I had had to download the app and was unable to book a session beyond 6am the following morning and then had to pay extra to allow time for breakfast. Had we found the machine, we would have been able to book for 24hrs for less. To add to this the key safe was malfunctioning… The WIFI signal was poor and kept dropping.

Good location. Easy to check in. Decent sized room. View of trees out my window. Good wifi.

Uncomfortable mattress. Mediocre shower. not many sockets. Terrible tea! All felt rather soul-less

Comfy bed, soft towels and tea and coffee making facilities. Near a lot of campus amenities.

Bathroom was very old and shower wasn't great. The room could do with a desk lamp.
