The Old Boathouse

Great location on shore of Tay estuary looking across to Dundee City, between railway viaduct and road bridge over Tay. Very characterful former boathouse, built of stone in 18th century. Now, fully modernised for comfort.

Would have liked breakfast to have been provided, although their was a cafe locally in Wormit, providing a range of breakfast offerings.

Quiet area and friendly locals.

The bed was small and very soft. There was no smoking everywhere which included the garden/ decking area outside.

Everything! It's one of the best stays among all our accommodations on this trip. It is very suitable for visiting Dundee and St. Andrews. We wish to stay longer... The view is fantastic. There's a small waterfront area where you can see the sunset and take a walk. Beautiful rooms and well maintained. Everything makes us feel at home.

The old boat house is spotless, comfortable, and very peaceful. We stayed in room 3 with a little balcony overlooking the Tay and over to Dundee. It has a few restaurants either side both 20 min walk or 3 min in car. All you need for your stay, including tea, coffee, and water in the room and porridge pots for the morning.

Close to the coast and with and amazing view.

Lovely quiet location, comfy bed with a great view. Easy parking outside and bus stop a very short walk away to get into Dundee. Hosts kindly provided a small fridge for us to use during our stay.
