AMOUR AT TURTLE BEACH

Amazing breakfast, very close to turtles for the evening turtle viewing . Host dropped us to the bus stop for our onward journey. They only have 2 rooms, good to support a small establishment.

Food offered was expensive so we ate in a local restaurant. Bathroom door was so low that we all hit our head on it! Please offer cold water and tea / coffee in the room with the kettle you have as the local shops are very limited.

Really liked this place. Nicely designed rooms with good natural ventilation. Lush garden. Clean pool. Prompt and attentive service. Expansive beach with no plastic garbage.

Amazing service! Don took us wherever we needed to, and helped with all the activities. Truly great hospitality. Property itself is very spacious, clean, and close to the turtle watching center.

Great location, less than 5 minutes to turtles and beach, several restaurants close by (or you can dine at Amour), quiet and peaceful. Friendly and helpful host (Don). Clean and spacious room. Kettle to boil water if you forget to bring enough. Terrific breakfast!

It would be nice to have one bottle of water but not a complaint, just a suggestion.

It was a very peaceful location with a lot of wildlife everywhere. The host was extremely helpful in suggesting places to try and helping me get to my next destination as well.

Everything. The place is beautiful, clean, peaceful,.... we had dinner and breakfast at the terrace, surrounded by trees, monkeys... The food Don cooked for was also amazing and tasting. Don was extremely kind with us and helped us get access to the turtles. It really went beyond my expectations.

This property is exceptional!! Highly recommended…super quiet area right next to the beach and lagoon, Don our host arranged for us to see turtles laying eggs on the beach just behind the property, unbelievable experience. Amazing breakfast as well probably one of our best stay in Sri Lanka…. Do not miss this property!!

This was an absolutely fantastic stay from all perspectives. We had a really great host, marvelous breakfast and we saw just from our Balcany a lot of different exotic animals, like the Hanuman Langur, Pea cocks, parrots, etc. extraordinary stay, very recommemded, nearby beach, all in all our best host so far. Thank you!

The property is very well maintained, and very clean. From our balcony we saw: monkeys & peacocks! The property Location is fantastic, I was initially a bit worried.. but you don’t want to stay in tangelle. You want to stay in amour turtle beach! The room is a 5 minute walk from the Beach, a selection of great restaurants & the national turtle sanctuary.. which at night you can see a mother nesting her eggs. The owner, Don was professional and went above and beyond to make us comfortable. He offers a menu, range of services including bike hire & safari tours at incredibly cheap prices! We enjoyed a authentic Sri Lankan meal overlooking the monkeys! We can both say this was our favourite accommodation: the owner was fantastic, it was a steal for the price (it could be double and we’d still come back!) and the property was very luxurious!
