Tortoise Trail Lodge

Everything was great. Unfortunately we had massive loadshedding which didn't make it easy for our hostess Cathy who did an excellent job in trying to sort breakfast out for us. She did a really great job and went the extra mile all around!

Jackie was very friendly and helpful and had to cope with heavy load shedding. Very peaceful atmosphere.

More support should be given by the owner to overcome the electricity situation,as it was extrememly hard for Jackie to prepare breakfast with limited power,

The size of the room

The gas heater for hot water was very inefficient. You can shower in Luke warm water. The breakfast was changed to Continental and not as advertised.

Breakfast was plentiful with all the usual trimmings ... Choice of juices, fruits, cereals , yogurts, choice of eggs and usual bacon and sausages if required , and of course toast , butter and jams with tea or coffee very adequate .

Thought fixtures and furniture very basic , but adequate and clean .
