Port Levy B & B Christchurch

There were thousands of stars above us as we sat in the hot tub at this remarkable B&B: I would like to assign every one of them to our stay here. A mere five stars does not adequately convey the beauty of the property, the excellence of the food, the comfort ofthis place, or the graciousness of the host. While I am given to kindness in my reviews, I never rave like this. Stay here! It is out of the way and all the better for it.

Amazing hosts. Extremely welcoming. We had a very entertaing evening and felt like we had made new friends. Brilliant conversation and food that was simply devine. Highly recommend the stay. We will definitely have a return visit if back down that way. 10+++++ Thank you for being so welcoming.

A beautiful house in a stunning location. Amazing views over the sea and mountains. Very comfortable room. Martin and Verity are wonderful hosts. Dinner cooked by Verity and breakfast cooked by Martin were two of the best meals we had in New Zealand! A truly memorable stay!

Everything was perfect!

The property and views are absolutely fantastic. This is a place a couple can relax and enjoy the beauty of this slice of New Zealand. Martin and Varity are great hosts. Sharing their knowledge of the area and of New Zealand in general. Since this location is quite a distance to restaurants, choose the option for dinner. The food and presentation were 5 star. Great value. The breakfast choices made you feel like you were at a fine restaurant. The distance from Christchurch airport is not bad. About 50 minutes to 1 hour. After 3 days in Australia after our flight from the US this was a great way to start our New Zealand holiday. If this property is available book it. You will not be disappointed.

This property is situated in a most picturesque area. Both Quiet and Peaceful with incredible scenery around you. The home is amazing and the hosts warm and welcoming. The attention to detail in this home is superb and furnished with impeccable taste. Breakfast was delicious and so was the fine dining experience we had prepared by the wonderful hosts Verity and Martin.
