Room on the River

Such a great place. I highly recommend.

Extremely comfortable room with own entrance in a great location for the village and surrounding area. Breakfast arrangements perfect for me - wide range of food provided in fridge in room so no pressure to eat at any particular time. Owners friendly, welcoming and very helpful. (Somehow the Kitchen Fairy magicked away the washing up each day and restored everything to order - amazing!)

This place is immaculate, Gillian has thought of every little detail, right down to a magnifying mirror, which us girls will understand the need for at times! Night lights for the bathroom breaks in the night, necessities incase you've forgotten anything, wonderful soft towels, very comfy bed. Breakfast choice was amazing, you would never leave hungry. Would have loved to have breakfast outside, but the weather prevented that, still, there's a wee table inside for such an occasion. The only thing that made me sad, was that, due to our commitments, I didn't have time to luxuriate in the huge bath (with a wineglass holder, to hold your glass of prosecco) 🥰 Although we didn't need anything, I am sure Gillian would help with anything you'd need, she's an excellent hostess. Have already recommended to others, and can't wait to stay again in the future.

Exceptionally clean, we had an amazing sleep on very comfy mattress. Breakfast was so generous and delicious and little extras all made the stay perfect for us. Hosts are lovely and very accommodating, kind and understanding. The sound of the river beside us was so relaxing.

Everything 10 out 10 need we say more.

Fresh Orange juice, selection of meat/ fruits/ everything needed was available. A brilliant mattress toal luxury.

Nothing could have been better it was perfect.
