The Strand Road Guest House

Everything. Clean, beautiful room and bathroom. Friendly staff. Everything what we’re expected was there and more. Also the food in the restaurant, which belongs to the guest house, was excellent.

Charming room, comfortable, nice staff, in town attached to a pub

We had some issues with the internet and electricity but am sure it is not a usual thing.

The shower was good and the bed was very comfortable. The food next door in the pub was wonderful. The staff were excellent. The lack of a cooked breakfast was no bother, I had the choice of cereal and porridge plus tea and coffee.

When I opened the blackout curtains in the morning, the support pole separated in the middle. It was a bit of a fiddle putting it back together successfully. A wee bit of maintenance would help that happening to someone else. Room 7.

Easy central location. Room was clean and spacious. Really handy to have the restaurant next door too. Staff there were great and food was really tasty (especially after a long day hiking). They don't serve breakfast on weekdays but there's a really great cafe a two minute walk away (Batch) that serve breakfast from 8:30am. Would definitely book again.

Hygiëne - Haren van de vorige gasten zaten nog in de douche Geluidsoverlast - beat, muziek, geluid van het restaurant eronder, je hoort de mensen naast je zelfs praten, de wc gebruiken (ja, alles) en andere dingen doen. Faciliteiten - Tv deed het niet, maar 1 toiletrol voor 3 dagen. Wc spoelde slecht door, douche spoelde nauwelijks door... Zou ik snel ontstoppen voordat je straks een groot probleem hebt.
