Very clean and welcoming

The staff are nice and friendly

The property was a in a nice location and convenient for me for my reason of staying.

The property had an extremely strong smell of damp and mould. I was staying with my 10 year old asthmatic son. We noticed the smell was so strong when walking the corridor to access the room. Not wanting to complain we stayed the first night in the original room, however when my son woke up wheezing the next morning and we could taste the in damp in our mouths, we decided to report it to reception. The staff offered us another room which we hoped would solve the problem so we agreed to live for our second and final night, however the scent of damp still lingered. It was as bad in the alternative room as the first one, but it still wasn’t good. After our stay my son was wheezing for a quite a few days. Would not stay here again unfortunately.

Convenient to our destination, owner and staff friendly and obliging ,breakfast excellent, room clean and warm.

Traffic noise because of it's proximity to a main road,a couple more towels needed ,beauty salon in adjoining room noisy.

The room was very dark even with lights, decorations not helping. The road noise was a problem and deliveries in the early hours.

Nice staff and cafe.

Room was excellent and very clean few attentions required knob off dressing table andn headboards to bed require tightening or replacing. Staff could not do enough for you and very friendly.

breakfast paying separate for tea and coffee not a drink included. was made cafe style menu but very nice. Disappointed not to be able to get a meal after 4 pm. also shops in area was not up to much except their own farm shop which was good.
