Hopley House

It was a lovely room, very welcoming with everything you need included, fluffy white towels and the comfiest bed. There was plenty of tea and coffee. The staff are exceptionally helpful, absolutely lovely and couldn’t do more to help. The breakfast in the cafe was delicious and good value for money.

The only slightly negative thing is the noise from the very busy road and that is because I am a light sleeper

We were given the room on GF next to front door which was badly fitted and was forced open/shut which was slammed frequently. Fire Alarm was activated - more noise Evening meal in cafe wasn't a pleasant experience Cold shower

It was a very pleasant stay. I booked a double room for me and my husband, and a twin room for our son. The rooms were clean and cosy, and adequate for we needed. When we arrived, the little farm shop and cafe were very busy and seemed a little chaotic, due to some event that was going on. But staff were helpful and friendly, and seemed to cope with it well. There were also a few nice little retail outlets for us to wander round, too. We have just re-booked to stay next year for the Boat and Folk Festival.
