"Stunning location, great amenity, gracious hosts."

A lovely setting, accommodation was exactly as pictured, refreshingly well presented. Beautiful location, on the estuary and just a short stroll along waters edge to the beach. Thoughtful additions, they supply a small continental breakfast, a hot plate is available for cooking as well as basic cooking utensils. Owners live onsite and were friendly and accessible. We would stay again.

Unfortunately we had an issue with hot water, as in there was none when I tried to shower in morning. This has impacted my score which would have been a 10. While my husband was able to resolve this (just a gas issue) , with John's assistance, it was both frustrating for me and an unfortunate end to our stay. John was extremely apologetic and did offer additional time to allow for a shower, but by the time I'd disrobed only to discover the problem, redressed and chased up the fix, I wasn't in a great mood unfortunately. I do wonder if this has happened to others as there were instructions in the manual to fix the problem. That said, it was a lovely stay, John was great, we would return. I would still recommend, just something to be aware of - check for hot water at the sink tap before trying to shower perhaps?

"Beautiful room in a great location. A very relaxing stay."

The room was immaculate and had all the essentials. The bed was comfy. They had a nespresso which is a nice offering.

The sound from the larger space was very loud with slamming doors and we could also hear talking from the smaller one. Not a major but for those more sensitive you might want to bring ear plugs.

Great location near beautiful Cooks beach, also a short drive to Hahei and Hot Water beach. The unit was well-equipped with everything we needed for our stay, and was clean. Bonus that we could borrow kayaks! Had a lovely time on the estuary. Very flexible and friendly host. Overall would recommend.
