Admiral Waters

Modern, well equipped, spacious unit with adjacent parking with no stairs, use of kayak on attached estuary was fun, spade provided to use at local Hot Water Beach was handy. Many glorious beaches to choose in walking and short distance driving. Lovely takeaway and restaurant in town. So lovely, we added an extra night to our stay.

Loved how fresh and new everything was, the building structure and also all its contents. The spade supplied for local attraction was handy and we made use of the kayak in the estuary attached to the property. Only dislike was the bed… a little too firm for our personal preference.

The kitchen was well equipped and the appliances excellent. The outlook was lovely and the house was very comfortable.

The room was good, only 2 things were the wifi wasn't very good, and not very sound proof, being woken up by other guests due to that. The do write for guests to reduce noise.

Very comfortable, quiet

It was amazing! The appartment ist just by the ricer, you can sit next to the river and have dinner or walk to the beautiful beach! The appartment had everything you‘d need, even a shovel for hotwater beach and 2 kanus in very good condition! I went fishing with the kanu and the amazing hosts john & lorraine smoked the fish and prepared some cevice and we had dinner together! We loved it!

Lovely neighborhood in convenient location to beach(es). Easy ample parking. Responsive and helpful owners. Liked the greenery/yard and space and while design looked nice, wasn’t the most ideal for sound proofing & privacy. Appreciated the beach towels and shovel for hot water beach.

The lack of AC in unit meant need to keep door open all night and couldn’t lower the shade since that would have blocked the air flow. Hence the neighboring guests got a nice view of us in bed as they walked by in the morning (the walkway to the estuary behind the house passes through/by the back patios of other two admiral waters rental properties). I would recommend a split curtain or dual side pull down to allow for privacy while also allowing air flow. Also, if you’re charging this price point and calling it a B&B, shampoo should be provided and daily breakfast options should be given.

Well kitted out. Great space and facility.

Cupboards and drawers could do with a clean. Beginning to look a bit tired - may be end of season.
