Just wow! Had a beautiful Breakfast with lots of options! Nutritious, Delicious a perfect way to start my day! The Yurt that I stayed in was soooo cosy heated blankets, beautiful fire, electricity and an amazing sense of freedom and safety I simply loved everything about this space and the host, Thankyou so much for a beautiful stay!

There was nothing that didn't meet my extremely high expectations I loved being in this beautiful home!

The room itself was very cosy and nicely designed, it was clean and bright.

The layout of the property was not clear at all when we booked it. You are booking a room in a shared property, which was not clear to us. The room was next to a communal kitchen and so we felt lack of privacy. There is also a dog running around (very jumpy), who run into our bedroom, jumped on the bed and then jumped on me (I was sitting on the bed) in an aggressive manner, I was terrified and quite shaken after that as I’m scared of dogs. If I knew there was a dog in a property, I wouldn’t have booked it, again there was no mention of that in the listing. So if you’re scared of jumpy dogs, I would reconsider.

Beautiful property in a stunning location, great to pop over the road for a swim in the Loch and come back for a shower before leaving. Melanie was lovely and welcoming and the whisky porridge was delicious. The lounge has a log burner so I bet it gets really cosy in the winter!

The room was a little small but fine for one night, no TV but fast Internet so we watched on the laptop instead.

I'm not in a position to say anything other than it's an OK location because, having seen the yurt tent on offer for the night, we made other arrangements and stayed elsewhere.

I would say to double check whether you have been allocated the yurt tent, which is a very specific glamping type experience and may or may not suit you. It didn't suit us at all, mainly because the toilet was not reachable without crossing the garden and letting ourselves in the front door of the building on a very rainy night. For the money charged, it was a very limited service, which we didn't use and so lost our money except for the dog supplement. I would look closely at other reviews and also read the details on booking.com very, very carefully to make sure this is your type of thing.

Fabulous breakfast - very welcoming host. Easy walk to loch and lovely walks from the property.
