In response to Coronavirus (COVID-19), additional safety and sanitation measures are in effect at this property. Breakfast includes cereals, porridge and fresh fruit followed by a full cooked breakfast with toast, coffee/tea and fruit juice. Special diets and an early breakfast can also be catered for by prior arrangement. For your safety and comfort, smoking is not permitted anywhere in Balyett. The house is happy to take arrivals from the late ferries, just let them know your estimated time of arrival. Pick-up/drop-off service for foot passengers from the ferry port and train station, on request. Breakfast includes Fruit Juice, Cereals, Porridge and Fresh Fruit followed by a full cooked breakfast with toast, coffee or tea. Special diets and an early breakfast can also be catered for by arrangement.

Location was good for us the bedroom was spacious and very comfortable it had good secure parking plus being set well back from the road there was no noise from the ferry traffic at all. Breakfast was amazing porridge was a bonus.

"Convenient and relaxing stop over for our ferry travel"

We enjoyed our return to Baylett Farmhouse. It is conveniently situated on the outskirts of Stranraer and handy for the ferry crossings to Ireland and exploring the local area, The room was relaxing and breakfast excellent.

The breakfast was superb - fresh and great quality ingredients. The room was very comfortable and well appointed. WiFi worked really well. Location was lovely with a view over the loch and very handy for the ferry terminal. A warm and friendly welcome from Jacqui :) Very happy to recommend and will return.

"Perfect B&B experience"

A clean and comfortable B&B with great sea views. A short drive to restaurants in Stranraer. Lovely friendly host works hard to ensure her guests have a good stay. Easy check in. Early breakfast times (7 to 9am) fitted our plans well.

"Beautifully appointed room with welcoming hosts."

This was a beautiful place to stay and we wish we ould have stayed longer. Loved the location for our main purpose which was catching the Ferry however next time we will stay longer to relax and explore the area a litle more. The hosts were really welcoming and happy to have us stay in their property. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. We loved watching the sunset on the outdoor setting. Lovely and relaxing.
