In response to Coronavirus (COVID-19), additional safety and sanitation measures are in effect at this property. Breakfast includes cereals, porridge and fresh fruit followed by a full cooked breakfast with toast, coffee/tea and fruit juice. Special diets and an early breakfast can also be catered for by prior arrangement. For your safety and comfort, smoking is not permitted anywhere in Balyett. The house is happy to take arrivals from the late ferries, just let them know your estimated time of arrival. Pick-up/drop-off service for foot passengers from the ferry port and train station, on request. Breakfast includes Fruit Juice, Cereals, Porridge and Fresh Fruit followed by a full cooked breakfast with toast, coffee or tea. Special diets and an early breakfast can also be catered for by arrangement.

"Lovely overnight stay."

Lovely room, great breakfast and friendly,hospitable host. Ideal for our morning ferry crossing to Belfast, only a short 10 minute drive to the ferry port.

We have stayed here before and is an excellent place for an overnight before the ferry to NI. Staff friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was good

I'm not sure I would have felt as at ease with finding the room and being left with the key under the dog if we hadn't been before.

Absolutely beautiful home. Spotlessly clean. Very comfortable. Delicious breakfast and wonderful hosts. Nothing was a problem to Jacqui. Would highly recommended here very handy for ferry ports also.

"Fantastic stay"

Lovely stay at Balyett Farmhouse. Would recommend and return if I am in the area. Easy to find, clear instructions, and easy to check in. The room was spacious and comfortable. Jacqui was welcoming. We had a lovely chat about the property and area. Superb breakfast.

Jacqui could not do enough me, nothing was too much trouble. Just on the outskirts of Stranraer with beautiful views of lock ryan. Evem from my room. Xx

Stayed for one night, very nice property. One of us was leaving before breakfast and it was no problem to have a roll made to take away. Cooked breakfast was lovely.

"Relaxing and cosy"

Beautiful farm house and cosy room. Breakfast was delicious and the host Jacqui was lovely and very accommodating when we had to arrive later than expected. Will definitely stay again if we travel to Stranraer
