In response to Coronavirus (COVID-19), additional safety and sanitation measures are in effect at this property. Breakfast includes cereals, porridge and fresh fruit followed by a full cooked breakfast with toast, coffee/tea and fruit juice. Special diets and an early breakfast can also be catered for by prior arrangement. For your safety and comfort, smoking is not permitted anywhere in Balyett. The house is happy to take arrivals from the late ferries, just let them know your estimated time of arrival. Pick-up/drop-off service for foot passengers from the ferry port and train station, on request. Breakfast includes Fruit Juice, Cereals, Porridge and Fresh Fruit followed by a full cooked breakfast with toast, coffee or tea. Special diets and an early breakfast can also be catered for by arrangement.

An immaculate, beautifully-furnished guest house on a working farm with gorgeous sheep and cows and the sweetest-natured dog, who gave me a lovely greeting with much tail-wagging! Jacqui is a lovely host and made me very welcome, and it was a pleasure to meet her and to stay in her top-notch accommodation. My room was beautiful and looked out to the loch. Breakfast was very plentiful, delicious, and cooked perfectly. I managed some much-needed rest alongside studying some coursework, as the farmhouse has a wonderfully peaceful and relaxing ambience.

Nothing to dislike.

"Stay was good with excellent breakfasts & excellent location for the ferries"

Excellent breakfasts and very good location to catch the ferries.

Initially I had trouble with water pressure in the shower but it finally became better. Hosts were advised & they will check it out. Room can become a bit tight if you have a lot of luggage

Peaceful farm location. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The host was friendly and the traditional breakfast was very good.

The farmyard through which you drove to reach the bed & breakfast could use a bit of straightening up.
