Check-in is strictly between 16:00 and 19:00. Check-in outside of this time slot is not possible. Please note that final payment must be made in cash. Guests under the age of 17 cannot be accommodated at this property. Extra beds and cots cannot be accommodated. Charges will apply for any damage to property including the interior and exterior parts. This also applies to any property that may be packed and taken in error including keys. Keys removed from the premises on departure will be charged at £50.00 per key. Kilmichael House has a strict no-smoking policy that applies to the entire property, both within the house and outside. Food is not allowed to be brought onto the premises. This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties. Unauthorized visitors are not permitted on the premises unless authorized by the owner of the property. Please note that satellite navigation systems may not pick up the property location accurately. Accurate directions can be obtained by contacting the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. Pets are not allowed within the property or on the premises and cannot be left in cars overnight at any time. No 3rd party bookings unless by prior consent of the owner.This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties. A deposit may be required at the property.

Clean. Comfortable bed. Plenty of hot water.

Lack of hospitality. Call me old fashioned, but I was under the impression that B&B’s are part of the hospitality industry. Definition of hospitality: the friendly and generous reception and entertainment of guests, visitors, or strangers. "Scotland is renowned for its hospitality" NOT AT KILMICHAEL HOUSE. It was obvious from the start that the host does not like having ‘guests’ on her property, but she is happy to take the money they have already paid through their Booking.com non-refundable reservation. Don’t even think about turning up a few minutes early otherwise you will be asked to vacate the property and come back at 4pm, and that includes being asked to remove your car from the car parking area. You’ll be made to feel more welcome at the local crematorium or undertakers than you will at Kilmichael House, but on the up side, the hospitality was SO bad that it gave us all such a laugh and will be memorable for all the wrong reasons. Book here at your peril!!!

Room was clean and comfortable. The building was a lot older than I expected. The location was perfect for us. It was close to everything we wanted to do.

La maison est magnifique de l’extérieur, la dame très gentille. La chambre était tres grande et il y a un parking. La salle de bain est petite mais pratique.
