L'hôte a été horrible, ne nous a pas accueilli, nous a très mal parlé quand on lui a demandé des informations et c'est permis de nous faire la morale comme à des enfants. Par ailleurs publicité mensongère car il est écrit bed and breakfast alors qu'ils ne font absolument pas à manger !

La habitación está impecable, recomiendo totalmente alojarse aquí. Además de la atención personalizada y el cariño con el que te recibe la propietaria. Tienes a tu disposición nevera, cafetera... y la cama es comodísima. Muchas gracias!

The cleanliness of the large room. The wonderfully comfortable bed. The Nespresso coffee machine and a few free capsules.

The proprietor has appalling personal skills. There had been nowhere else to stay nearby, so we had booked this place despite reading some bad reviews. It started to go wrong on the morning of our arrival when proprietor Charlotte sent a long badly punctuated Trumpian WhatsApp full of do this and don't do that. When we arrived and Charlotte finally opened the front door I was friendly but from her there was no smile, no welcome, no small talk. She looked at a clipboard and confirmed we were expected as if we were entering a military base, then invited us into the porch. Still with our bags in our hands there was an awkward moment while we waited to be invited into the house, so she explained that we had to remove our shoes. Really? They were dry and clean. She repeated it, adding “Well, if you want to stay somewhere else that’s fine”. If she had offered our money back we would indeed have left there and then because this altercation had already ruined our stay and we hadn't even entered the house yet. Passing the awful stag's head at the top of the stairs and unnecessarily escorting us into our room, Charlotte explained that the bathroom was a bathroom (what else might it have been?) and my wife discretely took a closer look, prompting Charlotte to say "that's right, have a good inspection if you like". In the room there were two pages of Covid-era rules stuck to the wall. There were claims about trying to reduce the carbon footprint and that there was a recycling bin in the room, so we were surprised to find a supply of coffee capsules, plastic-wrapped instant coffee, dried milk and biscuits but nowhere to recycle anything. I said to Charlotte that her rules say no food is to be eaten in the room but that here are some biscuits. "Only food that we supply can be eaten in the room"..... whatever, thank goodness we were only booked for one night, so we thought "roll on tomorrow morning and check out".

The property was in a great location, only a few minutes drive from great cafes and restaurants. Our room was spotless and comfortable, and the host gave us some great tips for our journey onwards.
