Highfield House, Parracombe, Modern B&B

I loved everything about this B&B! Jaye greeted me as I arrived and was super friendly! I was given a quick tour to help me get my bearings, which was a nice touch. The B&B is set in a really beautiful, quiet location, and the view from the window as the daylight started spilling over the fields was just gorgeous! The bed was really comfortable, the shower was amazing and everything was finished so nicely. Breakfast was set out ready for me just outside my room too. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and will recommend it to everyone! It was just what I needed after an awful week... Thank you so much!

The b&b was located in a lovely little village and lots of information was provided about things to do in the area. The instructions sent to us were detailed enough for us to find the place with no problems and the room itself was even better than we expected - everything was very good quality and spotlessly clean, and the view was brilliant. The details had all been taken care of, down to real coffee and a cafetiere in addition to tea and instant coffee. There were ethical shower products and soap, recycling facilities and a great breakfast.

Nice room, beautiful views, lovely kitchenette for being able to use microwave for a quick evening meal. Owner Jaye very helpful, lovely breakfast each morning.

Spacious and clean room, sufficient and varied breakfast, pleasant atmosphere of the accommodation, plenty of parking space, beautiful surroundings. Amazing setting of a picturesque village full of lots of nice and friendly people. I would like to highlight the professional and friendly attitude of our host Jaye and thank her once again for a pleasant holiday. We appreciated her knowledge of the area and were very grateful for her recommendations on where to go and what not to miss on our walks. I must also compliment the friendly and welcoming staff at Parracombe Pavilion Stores & Cafe, where we not only took asylum from the rain but enjoyed very good coffee and cakes. Highly recommended to all visitors, it's simply a must.

We can't fault anything and we will remember this holiday for a long time. Even the rainy weather was not a significant obstacle.
