Highfield House, Parracombe, Modern B&B

The room was nice and large with a really big and really comfortable bed. There is plenty of breakfast choice, freedom of the kitchenette so you could eat a takeaway out of the room, lovely ensuite with a great shower. Faye and Keith were awesome, but the morning greeting from Heddon was terrific.

Nothing not to like it was all fantastic.

The host was particularly friendly and helpful. The beds very comfortable. Excellent wifi connection Nice, modern, spacious bathroom. Very quiet location in the countryside. Nice view over the Exmoor. The host's dog has been very friendly with us and played nicely with our dog.

The breakfast was quite simple, i.e. very limited choice. A cooking plate and an oven in the shared kitchenette would have been useful for preparing dinners.

Breakfast facilities were brilliant. Having my own front door, porch outdoor space for the dog and breakfast area was super convenient and made my stay more relaxing.

The location proved a little far from where I wanted to be.

Lovely, large, clean and modern double room in a small B&B , with great views over looking the valley. Clean, modern bathroom . Fridge and microwave for shared use of the (few) guests . Jaye is very friendly and very knowledgeable about the local area and gave loads of good advice on potential walking routes .

Arriving from the west (Barnstaple) - it is very easy to miss the turn into the small road just ahead of the Fox and Goose

Continental breakfast as standard. Excellent selection of good quality produce. I didn’t try the cooked breakfast which was available for an extra charge.

Lovely breakfast and great views. Pretty village, short walk to local pub.

Jaye and Keith were exceptional hosts - very generous, thoughtful and warm people, who went out of their way to made me feel truly welcome and comfortable. I highly recommend to stay with them if one chooses on spending some time in peace and quite, for a creative solo trip or if you’re planning to venture out and explore the local/nearby areas. Breakfast was very delicious, nourishing and well balanced as well. Very clean, spacious and modern facilities, the most beautiful view and serene atmosphere overall. Nothing to complain about

The location was near enough to provide reasonable access to the coast and also in a lovely peaceful area. The breakfast was exceptional with a change of food each day as well as stable items.

Everything was fine.
