Getty's Bed and Breakfast

The room was clean , welcoming and quiet , hot water , bath tub and shower and also towels . Bed sheets were washed and white so that's a plus.

The bathroom is not big enough for ensuite, toilet and basin are too close , if you're a bit taller it's a bit of a challenge to sit well without your knees touching the basin , otherwise everything was good

Service is top notch. The best. Friendly staff and the cleanliness, gosh it was smelling nice. Hot water

There was electrical issues with plugs. We had to charge using our MacBook and we didn’t watch tv the whole night, even Wi-Fi was off.. Vodacom Network is also a problem that side. But Nonetheless everything was fine.

The place was very clean and very close to the main attraction area, which is Sun City Resort.

We didn't have hot water on day 2 and also how the owner went about resolving the issue, lack of professionalism. It affected our plans for the day, because we had to wait for the water to get hot.

The property was very clean and easy check in. The only thing I didn’t like was the error on booking.com side because that made seem like liars and the lady at the reception kept calling us liars in her home language. I made a booking for 5 people 2 adults and 3 kids. Two kids over 12 and one under 12. We usually get a sleeper coach for the child under 12 when ever we are travelling. But this time it seems like booking.com omitted one person and I don’t even know why. I didn’t mind paying a little extra but to omit a whole person that didn’t make sense to me. And what I didn’t like even though the corrected it when. We complain was that the water was cold they first day we got there but fortunately when we complained about that it was corrected same time

Unfortunately I did not have breakfast because I was informed that it was not indicated on the booking.

Communication between the person handling the booking (daughter) and the person at the establishment (mother). I waited at the gate for more than 10 minutes even though I called, and someone just came out of the door, looked at and went back without a word. It was around 16:00 in the afternoon.

Nothing about this place is to be liked.. Every product goes hand in hand with service. In this case the service spoiled the entire experience

Upon arrival the Host didn't recognize our booking. Despite the fact that my booking was done 6 days before the day. She was acting like we were intruders at her house. There was no proper reception or even a simple smile. After the room was finally allocated, she was rude and confrontational after I had enquired about the time breakfast is expected to be served. No breakfast was served as a result. We unfortunately had a cold shower in the morning as we were about to leave. We felt unwelcomed by the host and we couldn't wait to go back home. I will never book at Gettys Bed and Breakfast again.
