Claudia and Craig have created such a loving and welcoming home . We loved their company and chats about the island and everything in between . The food was excellent, house was so comfortable with beautiful farm house features, we had a fantastic , peaceful sleep and to top it all off our doggies were treated with such kindness and understanding. And , the island is beautiful!

"Heir Island is a very special place."

Heir Island House offered wonderful pet friendly accommodation. Claudia, Craig & ofcourse their gorgeous son Elliott were super hosts. Everything about this trip was special from start to finish, it’s such a wonderful island for hiking and swimming.

"Incredible location - bring your own food!"

Big comfortable beds, good size room. Small number of rooms so nice and quiet.

Breakfast is continental only and that wasn’t made clear. Meals are very expensive and on the small side and no other options to eat on the island, which also wasn’t made clear.

Claudia and Craig are incredible hosts. They truly did everything possible to make sure that I had a pleasant stay. Room was great- bed was great. From the ferry to the meals to cover my 3 night stay, this island is an enviable stay. I would return in a moment!
