"Philip was a wonderful host, nothing was too much trouble, we will stay again if I’m in the area."

10.0

Full of character, clean & tidy. Comfortable bed, lovely breakfast room, beautifully laid table. Wonderful breakfast

I had a little trouble finding the place as the postcode didn’t take me to the property, but close enough that a local was able to tell me where to find it.

"Lovely B&B"

10.0

I had the single room which was spotless and very comfortable with a nice view of the garden. Breakfast was very good and Phillip the owner was a lovely, friendly gentleman.

I just had a little bit of trouble finding the B&B up the narrow Back lane. The sign could really do with being on the right of the steps as it is easily missed as you go up the lane.

"A most pleasant and enjoyable stay."

9.0

Wonderful hosts with good choice of breakfast options and very accommodating for special dietary requirements. It was a bonus to have a bathroom with a window and natural light. The room was very comfortable and the towels were a generous size. A most pleasant stay for the two nights we stayed there. A really helpful visitor book was also provided suggesting a variety of eating options in the vicinity.

The roads leading to the property were narrow but this was Cornwall so to be expected! Everything else was great.

"The stay was interesting and pleasant but could have been so much more enjoyable."

8.0

The breakfast though well cooked and well presented was extremely limited. It was basically full English or scrambled eggs. You could have a juice, a cereal (3 choices only) and tea/coffee. We are used to a much more varied breakfast as I do not eat fried food and I don’t particularly like scrambled eggs! I asked for poached eggs and that was not possible.

The breakfast! Also the rigidity regarding timing etc. We had to pre book a slot (and food choices) in advance and there were only 3 times 8, 8.15 or 8.30. I’m afraid this is much too rigid for us when we are on holiday. Also there was no water, of tissues in the bedroom. It may be a small thing but many B&Bs manage to provide this at nearly £150 per night.

"Would recommend the vicarage and would certainly go back there again"

10.0

Everything. The location, cleanliness of the accomodation and especially the staff. Couldn’t fault anything.
