Rock Villa Relax City Resort

The host (Kapila) and the other people are super friendly and helpful. We felt really welcome. We were travelling with our baby and there was a nice baby cot in the room. Breakfast and dinner was very delicious and we also go treated with fresh lime-sodas and cookies. Also for our baby they prepared nice babyfood. Kapila took us to some interesting sites in Mihintale and gave us a lot of information about the history. He is a great storyteller! I would really recommend everyone to stay here.

It was our best accommodation in 4 weeks in Sri Lanka! We stayed in a separated little cottage, was very clean, comfortable bed and pillows, it's situated upon the little rock,so you feel the air, and it was not humid, nice garden and absolutely delicious breakfast ( you can order what you wish) and evening meals at a cosy terrace!! And of course wonderful friendly personal, very helpful and sweet! Also important for travellers- free of charge water bottles and !! making your laundry!! Super recommended!!! PS : you can rent the bikes to go to the temples and around the lakes,with we did and liked it so much!

I loved this place! From the moment I arrived, I felt warmly welcomed. The owner was incredibly friendly, answered all my questions, and even offered me a welcome tea. The room and bike rental were very reasonably priced. My room was clean and comfortable, and I was even allowed to use the washing machine for free.

the owner was super helpful, the breakfast was superb. Room was clean and the AC was working very well. Good location to explore the Mihintale temple (walking distance)

the breakfast was not included in the price (as mentioned here on booking) but was for a small fee. the breakfast was outstanding so we didn't mind

The guest house has different room options and is easy walking distance to the local historic sites and the town area. The best thing about this guest house is the family that run it! They are very very welcoming and so incredibly helpful plus they cook you amazing food, have free water available where happy to store so foods we had brought with us. Kapila has great knowledge of all the area and is very informative. Their care for guest is immense and greatly appreciated. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay. We would give you 30 stars if we could!

The downstairs room had a strange smell, and the big 3 bedroom room needs light blocking curtains.
