Location was perfect. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We thought it was expensive compared to the other accommodation we used on our walk and it didn't merit the increased price. The food was very average.

We stayed here during our hike of St Cuthert’s Way. It was exactly what we had hoped for when seeking lodging between long days of walking. The pub is easy to find, beautiful on the inside and out, and the food and staff were just what we needed to recuperate before setting out the next morning.
