Absolutely wonderful stay! As a solo traveler with my toddler, I couldn’t have asked for a more caring and supportive place. What was meant to be a short stay turned into four nights when my little one got sick, and our incredible host took such kind and thoughtful care of us. She truly went above and beyond, making sure we were comfortable and looked after, which meant the world to me. The guest house itself is lovely, with a rooftop that offers stunning views of Nuwara Eliya. If you go up, you’ll be greeted by playful monkeys and a breathtaking panorama of the city—such a special sight! The location is also perfect, with a beautiful walk down into town, or you can take a tuk-tuk if needed. But what made this stay truly special was the warmth of the host and her family. Her sons are absolutely adorable and so kind, making the place feel even more like home. She even introduced me to an amazing vegetarian restaurant, where I enjoyed a delicious buffet lunch for just 500 rupees— I went there 3 times. Traveling alone with a toddler can be challenging, but staying here felt like having a second home, with someone who genuinely cared. If you’re in Nuwara Eliya, I can’t recommend this place enough—it’s a stay filled with kindness, comfort, and unforgettable hospitality!

The middle room is least attractive one but the warmest, so it was good to stay there while my boy got sick

Nice view over the city, the hosts have been very friendly and helpful and the breakfast (4-5€) was delicious

It‘s a bit of a walk down to the center, but not too bad

Dinosha was a fabulous host. We were greeted with tea, cake and biscuits. The room was very spacious and clean with a comfortable bed. The views were tremendous. Dinosha was happy to help with booking tuk tuks whenever we needed them. We had great fun playing card games with her 2 boys, who were a delight!

We loved the location above the city, beautiful views! There were interesting shortcuts down to the city. We were upgraded and had a very nice large room with big windows and a sitting area plus a balcony. Our host was very welcoming and helped us book a tour of a tea factory some distance from the city. There were monkeys to watch. The family was lovely.

The staff was very kind and supportive, we directly felt like home. We got very good information about the surrounding and the owner was always reachable. The room was clean and lovely decorated with some plants. The breakfast was very delicious, we could decide what kind of breakfast we want, if Sri Lankan or English.

This is a fantastic hotel. Our rooms were very comfortable. Great value for money. The perfect place. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Excellent location.
