Fantastic.. Worth for money..

The host was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was the best we had in Sri Lanka. Friendly cute playful dog. Great view of Nuwara Eliya from there.

We had the best room; the room with a view over Nuwara Eliya. Unfortunately the weather was really bad, but the stay was great.

We had the most wonderful experience staying at the Golden King Guesthouse! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the kindest and nicest hosts we’ve met. They truly went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. The service was impeccable – everything was done with such punctuality and care. The hosts were always attentive and made sure we had everything we needed, offering helpful advice and making us feel like part of their family. And then there’s Teddy – their incredible dog! Teddy is an absolute delight, so friendly and full of character. He made our stay even more special, adding a unique charm to the entire experience. Thank you again to the amazing hosts and, of course, to Teddy for making our visit unforgettable

Our host welcomed us in with the pot of tea and biscuits. Nothing was too much trouble and was extremely clean. Our host gave plenty of recommendations of places to go and places to eat and even got our own driver to take us to the tea plantations and different places of interest for the day Thank you kindly for my birthday cake, a very nice surprise

The home was lovely and the room was super spacious. The host was super friendly and made a good breakfast. It was also super easy to get to the city as there is a shortcut that takes about 15-20 mins. The house dog teddy was also great!

Curtains should be blackout due to the streetlight shining into the room at night. Room was a little cold during our stay. A space heater would have helped.

We had the english breakfast. Its a good and filling breakfast but there is room for improvement. I mean for a homestay its more than enough

There is nothing to dislike about the stay

Really lovely family who help organising tours and transportation to the train station. The breakfast was super delicious!

The budget room is very basic with no window but that’s what you pay for and ok for one night.
