Family-run and cared for house - great location, parking nearby free or outside after 4.30pm til 8am. Room 7 has a desk, so ideal for working. Lovely welcome, simple access info and WiFI easy to allow for meetings. Nice and quiet, sink in room a nice old fashioned touch. Very good value and safe for solo female travellers. A pint in the Vintage up the road is a good plan - friendly and nice ale. I didn't eat breakfast but the dining room looked homely and all would be made in the family kitchen - only had to leave early so can't comment.

Super friendly and cheerful owner. My room was lovely with a comfortable bed and nice and warm with a very high quality bathroom. It's a very homely guesthouse and I'll definitely book again.
