"Excellent"

Friendly welcome, very comfy bed, with added bonus of an electric blanket. Having Alexa turn off my lights without having to get out of bed was an added bonus 😁

"Delightful return visit after 7 years"

Return visit after about 7 years. Liked it back then and like it now. Great value and just unfussily comfortable. Its a half way meet for me and an old friend. He is very fussy and no complaints from him. Breakfast is 8 quid and you expect something simple for that but it was very very good

TV channels were a little bit tricky - probably showing my age.

Breakfast, friendliness of staff, cleanliness and quality of room were all beyond satisfactory. I would HIGHLY recommend The Blue Mantle for a night's stay if you're in the Wellington/Taunton area. 10/10!

"Fine for a one night stay."

Location was great for our purposes. Though the B&B doesn't have dedicated car parking, this was easy and free - just had to make sure to move the car in the morning before the restrictions apply.

Our room was on the road-side, and we found the road noise at night quite loud, and could hear people talking/shouting as they walked up the road. Obviously not the fault of the B&B though.

Lovely property, all the facilities you need plus the extras that make all the difference 😊. It is welcoming (the building and staff), the room was so clean and had coat hangers, hair dryer, a blanket to snuggle in on the bed - just the extra touches to make it special. The welcome pack had lots of helpful and interesting information about the property and the area. Travelling alone, this really helped.

There was honestly nothing not to like
