Harmony House Boutique B&B

It was lovely and warm when we arrived after quite a long journey on the Friday night. Since we were late arriving, it was self check-in which was very easy and the Christmas tree was a welcoming sight in the hall. The Christmas card and other decorations were also a lovely touch. Our room was comfortable and the lounge looked plush with games and books available had we needed them. A good night's sleep was had since there was no traffic noise. The breakfast was tasty and the look on my face when I saw the yoghurt, granola and fruit bowl!!! Suffice to say that I did not eat until late afternoon. Adele was chatty (in a good way) welcoming and an excellent host.

We stayed at Harmony House for the weekend so we could do some sightseeing in York and the Christmas markets of course. The house is absolutely stunning. Adele is the best host ever, nothing was too much for her and her breakfasts are amazing. We felt very much at home straight away and on arrival enjoyed a cheeky mulled wine in the lounge by the fire. The bedroom was beautiful (we stayed in Great Burnet) and had everything we needed. We got into York on the number 42 bus which was only about a 25 minute journey, you can also park at the retail park but we mainly wanted to into the city so didn't go there. It was a foggy weekend so we didn't get to see much of Stillingfleet but that just means we'll have to come back so we can see the dark skies. I would highly recommend staying here. Breakfast, plenty of choice and cooked exactly how we liked it. Loved the bed Quilt, obviously good quality which added to good nights sleep. Adele, our host, met us with a warmth and genuine care to her home. Would recommend 100%

Adele the owner is a superb host. Nothing is too much trouble for her and she runs a lovely b and b. Will stay again in not too distant future.

Quiet and relaxing. Comfy bed, large room with unspoilt views. Beautiful house and Adele was the perfect host. The breakfast was lovely, a complete gem of a B&B. VERY recommended.

Amazing B&B in a beautifully house. Stylish and cozy, super quiet surroundings, with fridge, amazing breakfast with super high quality ingredients and the loveliest host ever. One of the best B&Bs we have ever staid at.
