Lovely hosts and beautiful breakfasts. Themed rooms were a special touch.

Very well situated for us to explore the Glow Worm caves. Helen, the host, was very warm and welcoming! She showed us all the facilities that were available to us. Breakfast was included, so we didn’t have to search for a cafe in the morning.

Steep climb to the property. We took the car to the caves! Younger guests would not have found it an issue!

John and Helen were great hosts and made us very welcome. The breakfast was fabulous. The room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. It’s a quirky place but everything you need to know is on the website. Very convenient for the Waitomo Caves.

The communication from the friendly hosts, Helen and John was clear and welcoming. The location was perfect for local attractions like Waitomo Caves, and the local restaurants. We enjoyed the breakfast, chatting with the hosts and with other travelers, and the honey-tasting. There was a lovely view of the valley from the shared living/dining area. Parking was convenient and the room was clean with a comfortable bed.

Nicely located and only 4 guest bedrooms. The owners live above the guest rooms and you are served breakfast by John & Helen every morning. They make very sure you’re full if you leave the table. Two wonderful people very interested in their guest and super helpful.
