"Warm, Comfortable and Homely!!"

Helen was a lovely host, made great breakfast and kept us warm and comfortable. Made Abseil Inn a home for us for two nights. Beer and wine available for a very reasonable price and made our evenings fun and enjoyable.

Nothing really—just caution that the road up to the house is steep but nothing a car can’t handle

"A Glowing Place to Stay"

Loved the hosts! John and Helen were absolutely delightful, wonderful, and informative. Breakfast, including the honey tasting, was very good and generous. Comfortable and clean room (and quiet). Great location - easy walk to places to eat, and a quick car ride to glow worm caves. Highly recommend. Wish we stayed more than one night - pretty area and really enjoyed Helen and John. Hope to come back.

Helen is a delightful host. Breakfast was wonderful. Location is walkable to local eateries, all three of them 😎 Village is centered around the caves and this is a very welcoming inn for a caving/gloworm visitor.

Unique experience with friendly hosts and amazing breakfast

Bed was a bit hard and it wasn't the smoothest stays. Couple of things : pay by phone is not supported so physical credit card is a must also the driveway is way too steep. Overall lovely place

"Amazing, comfortable, and hospitable."

We loved the generosity and hospitality from John and Helen. The bed was extremely comfy and the french toast breakfast was delicious! We both liked the location, but the driveway was crazy steep (and we were on foot!). I highly recommend Abseil Inn for anyone, especially couples. The view was fantastic too

There really wasn’t anything we didn’t like! We only wish we could have access to a tap for our drink bottles though.
