Excellent breakfast, very friendly and informative hosts, and very convenient location for the Waitomo Caves.

Location was great. Lots of choices for breakfast including hot cooked breakfasts. 😊Comfortable bed. Helpful hosts.

There was old bed frames with netting above the bed that looked good the only thing with that some moths and bugs do happen to get stuck in it.

Very nice B&B accommodation the owner were friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious. For dinner it was a short drive to the village pub the food was good and the beer cold

The location is truly beautiful. Close to the cave.

We arrived a bit early and were greeted rather coldly. Furthermore, the offer doesn't mention that the entrance is very steep and narrow. It's impossible to see if you'll hit anything. Overall, it's very dangerous. This meant we didn't show up at the hotel for the second time (this time during check-in hours).

Wonderful location and great hosts. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was fantastic. John and Helen were lovely, we really enjoyed Helen’s stories and John’s guided tour round the honey selection!

I have said this exceeded expectations because our expectations were reduced by the wording of the booking emails which seemed to warn us that it may not be the right location for us, in which case we should cancel! I would urge people not to be put off by this, having met John and Helen I can assure everyone that they are hugely welcoming and great hosts.
