Abseil Inn

John and Helen are excellent hosts, very passionate about what they do and life in general. It's an infectious energy that makes you enjoy your stay more. Also a fan of breakfast in the lounge. Not just because the french toast is perfect, but because of the setup. Normally I'm quite introverted and my partner carries most of the conversation with strangers, but this occasion it was nice to share a table with the other guests and split bread about our lives.

The driveway is a little tough! But that's a problem with nature, not the inn.

Helen and John are lovely . Very friendly and a warm welcoming couple. Nice easy parking and the room was super clean and bed comfortable. Heaps of choice for the included breakfast and servings were generous. Definitely recommend for an overnighting stay in the area . Less than five minutes drive to caves and even less to couple of options to grab dinner .

The location is great. The rooms are cozy. The common area is well appointed. And the hosts were the best part of the place. The breakfast was amazing and there was tea and coffee arrangements at all times. Definite must stay.

These are not real negatives because the hosts were upfront about it. But still good to know. The bathroom in some of the rooms are small and the bedrooms don't have much furniture - but the host was clear about it upfront and so we were prepared about it.

The owners are very friendly!
