"Comfortable stay"

Lovely room with everything we needed for a one night stay. Good fan in the room, which was very welcome as weather very hot. Good parking and lovely breakfast in the morning. Friendly and helpful staff.

We booked knowing that this was a B&B, so no food in the evening, but it might be something to consider as it is not really within walking distance of anywhere to eat.

"Dirty room, unchanged sheets (gross) and extremely poor for the price."

Not a lot…

The twin room we were given hadn’t had the sheets changed from last guest…it was immediately obvious when the covers were pulled back. The linen was crumpled stained, had hairs on it and there was the remains of a clear plastic wrapper. It was completely gross. The window had what appeared to be a towel nailed to it in a make shift curtain and the laminate floor and skirtings were very visibly dirty. I complained and duty manager was suitably embarrassed and moved us to another room, but that room the sink tap would only produce scolding hot water and the lever couldn’t be turned to cold position as against the wall, and then door handle came off in my hand. Perhaps our experience was unusual but the marketing doesn’t match the experience at all.

The Cherry Tree was very clean The Facilities were 100% The decor is beautiful especially the cafe area The staff are charming they can’t do enough for you and made me feel very comfortable Great stay Will be back regularly while looking for properties in the area Thankyou Neil & Elaine for your hospitality

The bed Very creeky ! Upstairs room above not a lot of sound proofing between the top and bottom rooms !

"Not enjoyable at all"

Room 11 is right next to the entrance so people were in and out all night making a right noise with no respect for other residents slamming doors, Outside my room vaping and talking. The floor boards in the room upstairs creaked every time someone moved so 3 nights, not one decent nights rest
