Hyatt Vacation Club At Highlands Inn

Our check-in process was smooth and quick. The front desk personnel, Kyle, was friendly and professional. He treated us like a VIP. We booked an ocean-view room, so the suite is far from the main building. The parking is easy, and there are a lot of open spots around our suite. All the staffs in the property are nice. Everyone said Hi to us and smile on their face. We were a bit disappointed after opening the door. The inside is dated, but the room is spotless. The view is spectacular. The ocean view from the balcony and the bedroom window offset the disappointment. Overall, our stay was excellent and unforgettable. We already planned to rebook in the same property.

This place gets a solid 4 stars. Beautiful view, spacious room, comfy bed, awesome jet tub, and i appreciate the glass of wine at check in and how they already had the fireplace set up for us. Also, you cant beat the view from the hotel restaurant Outside of that, theres room for improvement. Late check out - never stayed at a place where check out is 10am. i was here for the Spartan races and needed an additional hour to check out and was told to ask morning of. Check-in isnt until 4pm. They could have spared the hour. No onsite store - for little things like snacks, toothpaste, water, etc Terrible noise insulation - there must have been a water buffalo in the room above me. They were heavy footed and it was as if they dug their heels in on every single step. Woke me up and kept me up both nights Restaurant staff - at least 6 people ignored us and another party for a solid 15 minutes waiting to check in Parking pass - this should be handed to the customer at check in and we shouldnt be made to talk to time share staff for the pass. I sat in traffic for close to 3 hours and juat wanted to go to my room and rest

Cheyenne at check is was sweet, knowledgeable, thorough and patient. Our unit was fantastic with privacy and a beautiful ocean view. We had a fully stocked kitchen, sunny deck and jacuzzi tub for two!
