We did not even know there was a breakfast. We were not told about it. Also, although the property is beautiful, the pool area was Yeah not well kept. I understand about the mayflies, for sure! I am talking more about the broken equipment, i.e. umbrellas and chairs, and the unkept landscaping.

The hotel is right on the lake with pool and lake views from every room. It’s clean, has friendly staff, & everything you need. Great location. My kids loved it. Will be back!

Really nice place. Room was huge. We had a king bed. There were 2 tvs. A separate area with a couch and desk. Mini fridge. It was great.

As far as the rooms go they're not bad clean except a few cob webs in the corner of the living room. As far as the hot tub goes the filters were so full that the pump couldn't suck anything else out of the hot tub so it was nasty. Only one of the message ports in the hot tub had any pressure to it and the water was barely warm. The pool itself is way to small for as many rooms that this hotel has.

The resort was easy to find and the employees at the front desk were knowledgeable and informative to what was going on the island (an island race with road closures). The cleanliness of the room was lacking with a wet stain on the bathroom floor and crumbs being left on the bedroom floor as well. The mattress was older having indents left from previous guests.

This is our third time staying at KIVR. There is a noticeable decline in the property management over that time frame. The first time that we stayed at KIVR, it lived up to its name, with beautifully manicured grounds & clean facilities, giving it a resort feel. This year, this was not the same experience..

At $500+ for one night, the experience was not worth it. I will not stay again at this property at this price. The property has declined & there wasn’t even water/coffee in the morning at this outrageous price. Additionally, the “confirmation” email from booking.com was blank & there was not any customer service available to confirm the details of our stay. Our room was not ready until 4:30pm & we were asked to leave (by text message) by 11:00.
