Hampton Inn Big Bear Lake

Hotel was beautiful, staff really friendly, overall service was excellent. We really enjoyed the patio fire pits and S’mores.

Breakfast was great!!! Room was perfect for the for of us. They give out s’more kits in the evening. It was a great stay. Only mishap was the microwave not functioning properly but the front desk agent was kind enough to do his best to help.

Clean and cozy ! The front desk staff was so friendly ! We will be back ! The little smores kit at check in was such a nice treat. Thank you!

This was fine for a 1 night stay. Room was clean. Liked the coffee, fridge and microwave. But our room backed to the main road so there was noise. The shower facet was crooked and the bathroom sink faucet fell off when we went to use it. Interesting.

The hotel is new. There was nothing spectacular about this stay. My couple of interactions with the staff - they were cordial, but not very friendly. The s'mores at night and the small fire pits were a very nice touch. Made the entire trip worthwhile, especially since we were with kids. I didn't appreciate the surprise extra fee for parking. We're in big Bear, like how else were we supposed to have gotten there? Everyone has a car. Would've been nicer if they had included the parking fee in the entire cost. All in all, it was an OK experience.

When we traveled to Big Bear, the hotel was nice. The breakfast was good, the bed was comfortable, and it was close to everything, so it was very convenient.

The kids really enjoyed the pool area, and the breakfast had enough options for both adults and children. The location was convenient, close to shops and restaurants. One thing that could be improved is the check-in process, which took a little longer than expected. Overall, it’s a great place for families and groups of friends, and I would definitely recommend it."

New facility.

LOUD fan non stop in bathroom made it hard to sleep. $30 parking fee per day buried in Booking.com system and no other property im Big Bear charges that on top of an already high room rate.

Great Disappointment!!! DO NOT STAY HERE!!! They need some sort of generator when the lights go out in the hotel!!! We stay 1 night at the Hampton Inn Big Bear Lake on the 24th of August 2025. We were in the pool with my kids when the lights when out around 6pm. Thinking the lights would come back soon and they didn’t, we went to ask at the front desk and were told it would take 2/3 hours before the lights would come back. We asked for a flash light, which they didn’t have, so we would be able to see in the room. The room was pitch black. We were forced to use the lights from our cell phones, which soon after died. Obviously we couldn’t even charge them. The room was super hot and stuffy. Unfortunately, the lights didn’t come back until 1am. We spoke with the manager Cynthia Perez the next morning and said she could not do anything for us that they could only wave the parking fee which was $29.00. She told us the day before they had the same problem. I find this ridiculous, why should we pay full price for a hotel room that had no lights and no air for 7 hours and still have to pay full price.
