Bayshore Resort Downtown Put-in-Bay Island

Staff was friendly, golf carts rental was easy.

Way too expensive for the type of room/amenities you get. Our room was nice and spacious, but there was a lot that could be better. The bathroom was dirty. Shower drain was nasty and gunky, there was buildup in the grout and corners, hair on the sink countertop. Aside from that, the pillowcases had stains, the heater made the room smell like urine, neighbors were smoking weed which made our room smell, and the balcony had so many dead bugs I didn’t even want to sit out there. Also, the balcony light does not turn off so it just attracts more bugs. Outside of the room, the gas fire pit had a cut wire so we couldn’t even use that which was disappointing because it was a little chilly. I just think for $250, you could get the same service but for more than one night. Also, the cafe in the lobby wasn’t even open to get a coffee from. In my opinion, $250/night is too much, especially when continental breakfast isn’t included and golf carts cost extra. The golf cart rental was super easy, but you could probably get a better deal from a different company on the island. Unfortunately I needed a place to stay and wasn’t in my hotel room until later evening to notice the unsatisfactory condition of the room, so it was too late to even say anything. Aside from that, it was too late to book somewhere new and I didn’t want to waste the $250 I was already out. I didn’t try to resolve through customer service, got a call from the resort, called back, and never got anywhere with anyone. Overall, I would not choose to stay here again.

Bayshore was great! Probably the most comfortable bed I have slept in within memory. Property was very clean and pool was nice. Only problem was the Internet kept dropping out

No hot water for the entire trip and staff was condescending and rude when concerns were made.

Couldn't charge to the room..vending machines didn’t work..nice location..rooms keys often wouldn't work..wasn't told there would be no room service told a covid rule..

The view was beautiful. The swimming options were nice. However, the bathroom floor was dirty. The toilet kept running. We had holes in our blankets. No manager was ever found. We have emailed manager Nick several times and zero responses. We were on a time limit so while there we texted the number we were given to reach Nick and zero communication back and we went downstairs to reach a manager which we were told was Nick and he was nowhere to be found. For how expensive it was and for us to have to pay an additional 100$ for an "early" check in..... this was a rip off in my eyes. There was also paint hanging off the walls. Loud music late at night. Halls and elevator smelled like marijuana.

Location, location, location! Beautiful view!

No fridge, microwave, facial tissues nor coffee maker not to mention limited towels.

The property needs some repair and cleaning

Customer care needs work, to say the least.
