Bayshore Resort Downtown Put-in-Bay Island

We love that the pools are only for the hotel guests and have the perfect view of the lake.

It wasn’t as clean this year from years prior. Also they changed the golf cart rental times. It used to be 24 hrs or 48, etc. so in the past if we got there a bit early we’d have the golf cart 1pm til 1pm the next day if staying one day for example. Now you can’t rent til check in at 4pm and have to return it by 11am.

Property was clean. Not many amenities in room, sparse. No plastic bag for ice bucket and small amount of shower gel. No refrigerator nor coffee pot nor microwave oven. But pools were nice but could be cleaner and need a place to dispose of drink cups etc at the pool area. Nice pool towels provided. Room was clean and efficient.

The location was great. Nice views of the water and pool.

The lobby was not clean. A dead plant in the lobby. Cobb webs in the lobby. Toilet was plugged up and no one fixed it. Our shower had mold in it. Dead Bugs inside the screened in deck that probably have never been cleaned up for a long time.

Check in is at 4pm and we had to wait for our room to be cleaned. We were sitting in the lobby and they never let us know if the room was ready. We had to keep going up to them and ask if it was ready yet. When we finally got into our room, we didn't have any towels. We asked twice for towels and they said that they were still being washed. The third time that we asked for towels, they finally gave us some. There is no free coffee and no free breakfast. Ice machines on each floor was not working or coming out slow.

The location was great. The pool was definitely a plus

No mini fridge or microwave in rooms. Beds were a little uncomfortable

They were busy the day before so they struggled to get us checked in at 4 and when we're assigned a room, we didn't get any towels till around 6 pm. It's ok, they tried. Staffs were nice. Just need a better way to manage their guest turnover.

The location was great. The pool area and tiki bar were nice. The staff was very friendly and helped us with more towels, pool towels and trash bags.

I had asked for rooms together and we had I on each floor instead. The tub in the bathroom was crazy slippery.
