The hotel is fine, apart from the elevator which doesn't seem to have worked for a long time. I have given 5 stars...and would return if in San francisco again....entirely due to the the amazing staff. Angel on reception is incredibly helpful. The guys in Carlotta's, Logan, Jason, Sean and Shashank are the friendliest, most knowledgeable bar staff who made us feel very welcome. Thank you all very much

Room was clean and hotel was conveniently located. Elevator was out of service during our stay, but amenity fees were waived as a result. Cleaning staff threw away a friend's toiletries left in the bathroom while cleaning the room for the day, no compensation was given other than cheap replacements. Cleaning staff began vacuuming the halls at 9-10pm on our second night which woke us up. The reservation stated there would be a safe in our room, there was no safe in the room. When these concerns were brought up to the front desk, I was offered to be put on an email chain explaining our concerns to someone else, which I was never even put on. The first front desk staff member was very kind and held our bags during the day before check in. Overall, for the price, decent enough. I wouldn't stay here again.
