I booked Hometowne Suites Redroof inn through Booking.com, The pictures seemed nice as did the description, I live out of state and was traveling for work and I am unaware of the area. When I arrived it was immediate that there were safety concerns, Holes in the upper floors flooring, ceiling tiles missing, the fire extinguishers were open and children were playing with them.I had also booked a kitchenette room, but they had zero utensils available for the kitchenette, which defeated the purpose of paying extra for that room. The trash chute doors were open and unattended with children running around unsupervised. I stayed one night and then went to work the next day. When I returned there was no hot water for a shower, and they were also out of towels. I went to the front desk and told them I was checking out due to the lack of resources and safety concerns. I called booking.com and relayed the issues, and the next day called and spoke with a manager about it as well. I wanted a refund for at least the nights I did not stay, I contacted corporate as well. The main hotels management was either never in or never returned calls, Booking said they couldn't do anything even though it was false advertising, and the corpate office wouldn't resolve the issues as well. This hotel has people living in it full time with children and it a huge safety risk with all the issues I took pictures as well.

Easy stop over on trip north so location

Very, very dirty food in corners of elevator, dog hair, dirt, dust in room

Staff were pleasant

I chose this place based on breakfast being provided and there wasn’t even creamer for the coffee much less any breakfast!
