"It was the perfect place to get away with all th access to downtown."

The room was very nice with good amenities. Large refrigerator and whirlpool tub! Indoor and outdoor pool, ping pong and sauna. Set off the main strip but perfect walking distance to the strip of sister bay.

There is a charge for keys and if a hand sanitizer bottle is missing it’s a $50 charge.

"Great place to relax!"

This place was great! It was extremely clean and the whole staff was really friendly. It was a really quiet place. The only complaint is that I wish the pool was open later than 9 p.m.

"Great stay in Door County!"

The Birchwood Lodge has been by far our favorite stay in Door County yet. They pay attention to all the details. Well maintained and a super clean property. With a myriad of amenities. The fitness center was super clean and had a nice variety of equipment. The beds and pillows were some of the comfiest we’ve ever had in a hotel. Staff was friendly. It’s a great location just walking distance to Sister Bay, which was nice not to have to fight to find a parking spot every time we went into town. We will definitely be back!

"Great place, bad coffee"

The room was very nice, large, good bed and pillows, very clean, outdoor pool was very nice and a nice quite place to stay. So why 4 instead of 5, the coffee provided was horrible, powder creamer and just bad. There should fresh coffee and creamer provided for free for the prices charged. I traveled all over the world for 39 years for work and the coffee here was the absolute worst. BRING your own coffee and creamer. Thank you for letting me vent, I would stay here again but will be bringing my own coffee.
