Modesto Hotel

It was extremely dirty and it felt so u safe that I couldn’t have my family stay there in good conscience. Very disappointed and when I called immediately after arriving to cancel my stay they said they had to wait for management in order to make the call. Im looking to be completely refunded and hope that you work on your establishment. - Nicole soto

The room was really clean and spacious. We were given a room near the entrance which was a nightmare. If you're a light sleeper every time someone goes in or out of that entrance you will hear it and not be able to sleep. The door has a large gap at the bottom and covering it a towel is not enough to block the noise.

The hotel itself and the room were basic. They had all the amenities like towels and little shampoos and there's actually quite a lot of countertop space. There was a fridge and a microwave in the room. The bed was comfortable enough there were plenty of blankets and pillows. Some of the lights didn't work. The staff that checked me in were very kind. This is a no frills kind of place where they do offer weekly and monthly rates. This would be a good place to say if you just need something very basic.

The area where I was smelled like MJ, mattress old, and no tub stopper to take bath, lack of assistance in the evening due to short staff.

We arrived as part of a guided tour group for one night. The moment we opened the room door a dead bug on the entrance floor. The next morning another dead and a live bug. The windows allow all the noise from the nearby highway in. The AC squeaks. The bathroom light does not work. We were located near the back door between buildings 1 and 2. The security key activated lock on the outside door did not work. There was an additional gate to the parking lot with the security key lock not working either. This is a safety issue and should be fixed immediately. The rugs and walls seem dirty and the breakfast was uninviting. The wake up call service did not call either. There are other, apparently, much better hotels for not much more $ in the area. I would not have considered this at all if it were to me.

Clean

The noise level of the other guests was horrible. People fighting all night. Not sure if they were part of the weekly guests. The outside and hallways looked run down but the rooms were clean, newer and comfortable.

There was no hot water no water pressure in our room stepped on a fishhook. None of the staff knew what a fishhook was. Had to change rooms across to another building hotel was under construction, very dirty, feeling carpets were filthy did not feel safe in the locked doors at all
