While passing through, I've watched this small hotel rise from a vacant space between two brick buildings into the fantastic location it is today. The owners have paid close attention to every detail of this property, but the real standout is the exquisite tiling in the public areas and the room baths. The experienced, personable and helpful local staff, combined with the unbeatable harbor views, will make this addition to Rockport village a real gem. The lobby-level restaurant is already popular, and a top-floor seafood restaurant will soon open. Set between larger, busier and more famous Rockland and Camden harbors, Rockport harbor is quieter and more residential than either of those for anyone seeking calm and beauty in midcoast Maine.

What an amazing place. 10+ on everything. The staff was great, the room was amazing with the views and comfort. Peaceful, quiet, and everything is brand new. A class act. We spent 2 nights and wished for more. Hugh, I'm not sure of his position, was customer service at the best in his industry.
