Bloom Hotel - Medicity Gurugram

I would like to share my experience from bloom hotel medicity the front office staffs were so polite and humble they made my stay very smooth and comfortable, special thanks to Mr.Chandu at front desk.

One guy at the front desk who exhibited lot of attitude for no reason and then other front desk staff too who were not too courteous and respectful. They should learn to behave as good professionals as otherwise the hotel will just be known as all name and no substance very soon given the lofty costs they charge for everything which are mostly substandard for such high claims of quality and hospitality. The hotel is not even close to any star hotel as I saw poor maintenance, food plates lying all over on stairs, mats in the corridor dirty and worn out, staff not hospitable enough so this hotel requires lot of improvement as it is just another hotel with lot of marketing and promotion but less emphasis on comfort and respect to guests. There is no parking and laundry services are poor which further exposes it as a very ordinary hotel with tall claims and exorbitant rates.

Location if you are going to Medanta hospital.

It was the worst nightmare of our lives. I was at Medanta Hospital, and my wife was alone in the room. We had extended the room for two more days. On Friday evening, I was discharged and returned to the hotel. At 10 p.m., a lobby manager, Chandu called my wife, who says he has been receiving a phone call from someone who claims that he is the real (my name) and the person staying at the hotel is a fraud, and so on. I immediately took the phone from my wife and asked him why he was calling my wife at 10 P.M. on the basis of a unanimous call he received from someone he doesn't know? He backed off and wanted to come up to apologize. I didn't allow it. This whole thing was bizarre, and we were concerned about not being in our hometown. We called a friend in Noida and told him the story. He called the hotel. He was told by the desk person that Chandu had left the duty at 7.00 pm. This made us even more concerned as it meant that Chandu was calling from outside the hotel. We decided to leave right away. Our friend drove from Noida to Gurugaon and picked us up at 1.00 am. We reached his home at 2.30 am. This was after my angioplasty and stent insertion a day earlier at Medanta. The hotel management need to train its managers not to call a lady alone in the room at 10 pm because he supposedly had received an anonymous call. I would fire that manager. I will never stay at Bloom Hotel again.
