"No nonsense lodge at edge of skiing area (walkable distance)."

Staff was great, good hot room to dry gear. Kerosene warmers keep the rooms warm. Good breakfast.

Beds were rock hard and the showers almost didn’t have water pressure, especially if 1 other person also wanted to shower at the same time.

Situated 5 mins from the main street of Akakura Daiju is great spot to base yourself out of for your stay in myoko. Huge brekkie, great little in-house onsen style bath and shuttles to Mount Myoko resorts. Twin rooms are massive.

At the start of my stay the driver was injured so wasn't able to be picked up from the train station. Was the only blemish on an otherwise really enjoyable stay.
