Taj The Trees, Mumbai

We stayed there for 2 nights. The hotel is beautiful. The service is a little lacking; no one informed us about "traditional music and yoga, or sunset rituals and lighting of the lamp or departure with fond memories". I overheard some of these when the front desk was checking in someone else. If they had, we would have partaken in the same as well. There is a clear disconnect between the reservation team and the front desk team, which is a problem I have noticed at all Taj properties. The reservation team on email can be rude and just not reply back while the front end has no idea what is going on with the same. I was about to cancel my stay because of the reservation team but my husband insisted since he loves Taj properties and wanted to try this new addition too. We're glad we tried it. The rooms are beautiful and spacious. There's also a French Press in the room for which I was really excited about. The room was stocked with good toiletries and was clean. The breakfast spread is good, too. We also tried a Buffet Dinner at Shaminana for my husband's birthday and Nonya the next day. Overall, we would come back, but we would like the Front desk and reservation team to be more connected and provide the same service to everyone, rather than picking and choosing.

Excellent property with great Hospitality. From the moment you reach the property you feel calmness and peace of mind. Ms JASMEET KAUR at the front desk took great care of everything for our check in to our Spa appointments and even our meal plan as we had special preference of JAIN food. As we were celebrating a special occasion she even got the room decorated creating beautiful memories for life. Would love to visit the property again.

The hotel staff was extremely warm and welcoming right from the moment we arrived. They guided us through the check-in process effortlessly, which really helped after a long journey. I was traveling with my one-year-old, and that’s where their hospitality stood out even more. Every time we visited the restaurant, the staff went out of their way to keep my child engaged and entertained so that we could enjoy our meals peacefully. Their patience, friendliness, and genuine affection made a huge difference to our overall comfort. The room was cozy, clean, and well-maintained, and we could feel the effort the housekeeping team put into making the space pleasant for us. The ambience of the hotel was calm and family-friendly, which added to the experience.

Beautiful hotel, luxurious room, amazing food, very polite and frinedly staff and high level hospitality. Room was very big and spacious, with full white marbel big size bathroom. Bed was very comfortable. Check in and out was fast and smooth. Food in Japanese restaurant in the hotel was amazing.

Went in for birthday celebration, they planned a decor in the room with a cake. It was so pretty. The property is well maintained and clean. The rooms are well spacious. This was my 2nd visit last year as well I chose taj the trees for my birthday celebration and this year again. And it didn’t disappoint me. Im open to go again. The hospitality is top notch.

I have been to several Taj hotels , but this one was different , there was a serene calmness and and exceptional sense of care , from each and every member in the team ! Fantastic atmosphere and experience

Amazing!! The hospitality, kindness, generosity from many staff at the restaurant was superb. Rohit and Isha’s daily warm welcome and super kind approach. Upon request of specific tea Nirmal made us the most delicious tea. Chef Vaibhav catered for our individual needs with some of our food items which were tasteful and exact to requirement. If not better. They all made us very comfortable and fully satisfied with their service. Guest relations and hospitality at this hotel is extremely professional and top class by every staff member. All areas of services throughout this hotel has been fast and efficient and for the first time I have not had anything and I mean anything to complain about or be disappointed. Can’t thank you all enough. Keep up the amazing work you all do. Highly recommend this hotel.

Sumit ensured we had a great experience - everything from getting us the table we wanted to making our day special with a cake on the house. We keep coming back for the great food and the even better hospitality.
