The Lodge Luxury Resort At Lake Harmony

We waited 2 hours for check in, then were given the wrong room. It was old, looked dirty, smelled, and we asked for our money back. No way were we staying there! The outside of the building has siding hanging off or missing altogether, no AC in main lobby, nobody at property site to answer questions! Terrible experience!

They switched our reservation at the Luxury Lodge to a room at Split Rock hotel. Room on 3rd floor. Elevator not working. No one available to help with luggage. A lot of steps for a handicapped person. The first stairway they told us to use did not go to 3rd floor. Incompetent communication. Air condition in some areas of hotel not working. Old musty smell throughout hotel and room. Hope Expedia can rectify.

Property was nice

Everything was great except had to check in at a different location about 1/4 mile away, never experienced that before. Room was large, very comfortable beds and nice location

When a reservation is made for this hotel there should be a note on the website that you need to check in at the Town Center not at the hotel. The Town Center should have more check in help at the desk and better communication including the actual hotel. The hotel was okay. The room was nicer than the hotel lobby. 3 star rating

It was much more confusing than it should have been. Check in wasn’t at the Lodge, but there was a sign saying it was at the Town Center without any indication how to get to the Town Center and no one there to ask. When I finally git a hold of someone at the town center they were very kind and helpful. Like I said… much more complicated than it should have been.

Great stay cozy rooms and nice view of the lake

Out dated, not well kept. Individual rooms were nice enough. Needs a lot of work to maintain guests and visitors. The Mexican restaurant experience was less than poor. Although the food was good. The time of dining was unacceptable. We waited almost 90 min for basic tacos and nachos. Not sure if they were understaffed. There are no lounge chairs to sit near lake. The fitness center was less than poor. Would not stay here again. It was NASCAR weekend so you would think they would be more prepared

The Hot Tub Water Came out Brown you could scrape the grime on the sides with your nails. We had 2 Towels for 3 people and none at the pool area and there wasn’t anyone in the Lodge. I think we were the only ones in the whole place. It was Sunday on Fathers Day. Every Bar & Restaurant in the entire Lodge was also closed . We went to the Town Square at 7:45 and all food venues were closed. We were literally the only people at Breakfast when they set up and it was cold / the coffee was the same from the night before.This is just the highlights - I want my money back.

The Excellent and the good: Location is wonderful. We got lake view rooms and they were peaceful, beautiful and amazing. The facilities are great. The arcade, the theater, the sand and the lake beach are a lot of fun. The place comes alive on the weekend and they had live music on Saturday. Tuesdays and Wednesdays are quiet and enjoyable in their own way. The hot tub was fantastic until our last day when someone put bubble bath into it and we couldn't get rid of the soapy foam completely when it was our turn. The staff are very nice and helpful. The not so good: We stayed in the split rock lodge and they employ skeletal staff in that building which means you won't have daily room service. The housekeeping staff only replenish supplies and linen if you ask, but they don't actually clean the room if you ask them to. The breakfast was good, but it got boring by our fifth day as they had the same fare every single day. There is no laundry dryer in split rock lodge and you have to take your wet clothes to a different building one mile away. Overall: Overall, it was probably good value. We had an amazing time in spite of some inconveniences.
