The surrounding area feels vibrant yet composed, with strong lighting and a secure atmosphere typical of Fukuoka's well-patrolled urban core. Room Opting for a bay-view room proved an excellent decision—the expansive windows framed mesmerizing scenes of Hakata Bay, passing ships, and the sparkling city skyline, especially captivating at sunrise or sunset. We basically travelled to Fukuoka just to experience this Ritz-Carlton. Being such a new hotel, the suite appointments are impeccable, the food is amazing, and the facilities are fantastic. With all that said, I thought the ladies and gentlemen at this particular Ritz-Carlton stands above all. They were attentive and friendly at all time, Vincent was friendly and provided great local recommendations to us. He gave us a beautiful kimono Ritz lion as a keepsake and it is truly appreciated. There was a small hiccup during our stay which truthfully I thought it is very difficult to avoid given the nature of the incident. However, the Ritz team addressed the situation swiftly and made us felt so special. My wife fell ill during the stay and they made arrangements that truly made us felt they really cared for our wellbeing. This is a hotel that I will certainly be back, and made us understood why the nane Ritz-Carlton has such command in the industry.

The location of the hotel and how everyone does their best to make guests feel important / pampered. That training and attention to details is what makes RC a brand. I believe most guests pick RC for this reason.

The excessive use of air freshener. Having spent an extended time in Japan eating at traditional restaurants, like counter nigiri and kaiseki restaurants, we stopped wearing perfumes and tuned our sense of smell back to normal. So getting hit by the excessive air fresheners in the public space in the hotel was a little too much. Maybe the housekeeping manager should take note. Air fresheners use is the same as perfume, the user will get used to the smell but not others are exposed to this the first time. It was excessive and uncomfortable.
