Our 3 nights stay at the Ritz Carlton was flawless! From the moment we stepped out of the cab at arrival to when we checked-out, we felt really looked after! It's all the small touches, like when the lobby staff says 'Welcome home' every time we step back into the hotel, or when the staff entertains the kids with the Ritz Kids Welcome package with the 'treasure hunt'. Hotel location is unbeatable. Just a block away from the shopping hub, Iwataya, Solaria, Mitsukoshi, etc. The dining options are endless...from easy ramen joints to higher end restaurants. We didn't want to leave...but unfortunately, reality awaited.

New hotel exquisitely decorated. Room layout and amenities are great especially the black out shades and shower room. The only disappointment is the breakfast buffet. While the quality of the food is decent the selection pales in comparison to the other breakfast buffets in Japan. The Christmas Day lunch buffet was also a big disappointment given the hefty price tag. Some of the foods were from breakfast and the others were not spectacular.
